    Will be responsible for migrating legacy apps built on IBM tech to SOA using Spring boot and Angular and part of team to build solutions which will be used by organization.     Details:

    Will work with executives, product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to conceptualize new application projects and analyze legacy applications and devise a plan to modernize them into a microservices architecture.

    Translates business requirements into technical requirements for projects, recommends technical resources and task assignments and provide an estimate for development activities. Will own technical decisions, production of architectural artifacts, and technical designs for assigned projects and collaborates directly with project teams, writing code and offering guidance on best practices in Java, Spring Boot, and TypeScript to support the development of complex applications and features. Performs code review for microservices and user interface developed by other developers.

    Works on analyzing performance of applications and finetuning SQL queries in various Relational Database systems like DB2, Maria DB and work on data modelling and table design for relational database backend, coordinating with database administrators. Will assist technical staff with resolving technical issues during the project and document the operational processes and procedures for application deployment, use, and security details.

    Will do Risk identification and develop a mitigation plan. Plans deployment activity (Pre implementation, post implementation & backout plan) and manage the application release into production and set up monitoring capabilities for applications and establish measurement criteria to assess performance. Will provide support and transfer knowledge to the support teams. And coordinate across different teams to manage incident or outage situations.

    Will help establish and employ organization-wide software development standards and patterns and partners with product owners and software development managers, ensuring application and system functionality meets the business requirements, performance goals, and measures, participates in the platform engineering process helping to automate all areas of the SDLC.

    The Network and Systems Administrator has the shared responsibility for the design, planning, installation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the College network, its related hardware, software, enterprise systems and servers, and related services.  This position participates in capacity planning, supports the creation and the maintenance of network disaster recovery plans and monitors all network performance activities. This position is also responsible for general administration of Windows and Linux servers and the applications on them. The Network and Systems Administrator is a part of a team responsible for the administration of the virtualization, storage, and backup/recovery infrastructures supporting the College’s servers and services. They demonstrate a high level of knowledge surrounding data network infrastructure and display strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills. They are also skilled in the use of network diagnostic tools and software to enhance the investigation and resolution of network problems. Additionally, the Network and Systems Administrator supports best-practice and comprehensive information security and as such is responsible for making recommendations to the Director of Technology Services and VPIT regarding matters of information security and/or implementing them. This position keeps abreast of and actively self-learns new and required technologies and may identify and implement new technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency, and availability of the network and systems environment.

    The Career Navigator for the Modeling and Simulation program is responsible for providing select Clark State College students with support and guidance. This position will also foster and manage partnerships with community agencies and businesses to provide employment opportunities and career advancement for underemployed and unemployed students in the program. Additionally, the Career Navigator is responsible for recruiting and advising new and returning students and assisting them in achieving their educational goals in accordance with the mission, vision and core values of Clark State College. This position coordinates referrals to campus and community-based services as required while the student is enrolled with a special emphasis on increasing student retention and completion in the Modeling and Simulation degree and certificate programs. Additionally, this position will coordinate advising services regarding students who were granted a financial aid appeal or dismissed. This is a grant funded position that ends in December 2027.

    As the IT Analyst you will provide end-user help desk support and technical support for the Warewash business systems. This includes maintenance of installed infrastructure hardware and software, as well as the upgrading, installation and configuration of these technologies and associated applications.  This role will assist with the development, testing, implementation, and support of processes and requests to support the Warewash Business Division.  This position supports multiple platforms including servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
