IT Budget Challenges – My How They’ve Changed!

Cybersecurity, outsourcing, and cutting edge technology have clearly changed how we build IT budgets to align with corporate goals. Likewise, the percentages allocated to the “Run, Grow, and Transform” components of our budgets are shifting as well. Taking a closer look at the challenges inherent in our ever-changing technological world, and gaining insights into overcoming them, could be the difference in whether IT is viewed as a Profit Center or a Cost Center in the organization.

Dave served 30 years in the United States Air Force, mostly in financial management, intelligence, and IT leadership positions. Though he has a Bachelor’s in Accounting (graduating Summa Cum Laude) and an MBA, he’s transitioned to the IT-world because technology brings him, and his awesome staff of professionals, plenty of work to keep them busy. When Dave’s not working IT or cybersecurity issues, he also serves on two corporate boards, serves as a Council Member in his municipality, and plays drums in the Praise Band at church. Additionally, he and Connie, his wife of 39 years, and are currently hosting an exchange student from Germany.
