Dr. Zillah Fluker joined Central State University as Vice-President of Institutional Advancement and University Spokesperson in August of 2020. Dr. Fluker is a 20-year leader in Corporate America and Higher Education.In 2018, she founded and launched activate|elevate, LLC, a social media and marketing firm.Since 2016 activate|elevate manages a portfolio of institutions of higher education, small businesses, municipalities, non-profits and private individuals' social media and marketing strategies across the United States. The competitive advantage that activate|elevate has is a research and data collection methodology that develops case studies from client activity and benchmarked data that is regularly presented and reported out at professional and academic conferences.Dr. Fluker also founded the Why Not Win Institute, a targeted non-profit for leadership development and serves as its inaugural executive director.
Fluker holds four degrees from Purdue University and Alabama State University; a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Policy and Law and Bachelor of Arts in History from Alabama Sate and an master's in business administration and Master of Arts from Purdue University. Her primary areas of research are Social Media, Diversity and Organizational and Leadership Development.

Laurie Larsen Quill is a full-time consultant. She founded Human Factors Solutions LLC in 2012, after spending 20+ years leading human systems integration and human factors investigations at the University of Dayton Research Institute. As a consultant she solves human effectiveness problems through human systems engineering practices. Recently her projects have focused on U.S. Air Force research efforts for the C-17, C-130, and F-16 aircraft (including research flights on the C-17 and C-130). For 9 years she was on a leadership development team at the University of Dayton that provided programming for faculty and staff to foster leadership capacity. She is currently the Chair for the Engineering and Science Foundation Board which sponsors grants that inspire regional pre-K through12 students to understand STEM, and to cultivate interest in and preparedness for STEM career fields. As her ancestry commands, Laurie “Larsen” Quill likes all things Norwegian.
