    Python Training

    Are you interested in learning Python but feel overwhelmed by fast-paced boot camps? This beginner-friendly course is designed for students with little to no coding experience. You'll build a strong foundation in essential programming concepts like variables, control structures, data types, functions, and file handling. By the end of the class, you'll be prepared to tackle more advanced courses or boot camps with confidence. No prior experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn!

    Python Coding - 5 weeks
    Dates: July 22 - August 21

    Class Days: Tuesday and Thursday

    Connect with more than 3,000 students at the 2025 Miami University Fall Career and Internship Fair. Employers are invited to promote their full-time, internship, and co-op opportunities while networking with students spanning all majors, career interests, and class levels.

    11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Employer Lunch
    1 to 5 p.m. - Fall Career and Internship Fair

    • General Registration: $500

    Engage with Miami's newest engineering and computer science students this fall as part of their first-year course, CEC 111: Imagination, Ingenuity, and Impact.

    Students will take part in sessions on resume writing, career fair preparation, and elevator pitches. They'll also have the opportunity to connect directly with company representatives to explore career paths and practice their networking and communication skills.

    Company representatives will be at tables, similar to a career fair—but in a more relaxed, conversational environment. Students will approach company reps to practice introducing themselves, discuss career paths, and learn about the organization. Upperclass students may also stop by during the day.

    Please review the available slots below and click on the button to indicate your desired date and preference for morning or afternoon. We will follow up to confirm shift times as the event draws closer.
