Dayton Leadership Academies is a charter school serving 575 students in grades K-8th. We are a Leader in Me school offering opportunities for students to lead in their classroom, in the school, and in the community. 

To develop our middle school students as leaders, all 7th-8th grade students take a leadership class once a week. During this class they research high school options, explore their career interests, participate in job readiness workshops, and create a portfolio where they track their progress on their individual goals. 

7th-8th grade students also participate in a Friday Leadership Speaker series, where outside community leaders speak to students to share their personal stories, expose them to careers, give advice, and inspire our students to dream big.
