AI and ML in Data Analytics: Evolution, not Revolution

 The advent of AI/ML and the role of data scientist can at times seem at odds with the traditional world of data management, business intelligence and reporting applications, and data analysts. Yet when you peel back the covers, both groups have the same outcome to deliver actionable insights to management, employees, and stakeholders, and they use many of the same techniques and tools. Matt Coatney has over two decades of leadership and technology experience. He has served as CIO and CTO for large global corporations, launched over a dozen AI products, founded multiple companies, and led and advised early-stage and high-growth companies.

He is co-author of the HarperCollins Leadership book, The Human Cloud. He is also a frequent speaker and contributor on the future of work, business, and technology. His work includes a TED Talk, keynotes, published works with MIT and O’Reilly, and media spots.
