AFCEA Dayton-Wright Chapter
The Dayton-Wright Chapter, originally chartered on February 14, 1948 under the U.S. Veterans Signal Association and the American Signal Corps Association received its official updated Charter of Incorporation from AFCEA International on November 21, 1984. Today, with just under 600 members, our Chapter remains a venue where Government, Military, Industry and Academia can come together.
The AFCEA Dayton-Wright Chapter is a professional organization that:
• Increases knowledge of information technology, communications, and electronics for the defense, homeland security, and intelligence communities;
• Supports technology education; and
• Provides a forum for the ethical exchange of ideas among industry, government, and academia.
To be the premier association for information technology, communications, intelligence and electronics professionals in industry, government, and academia serving the Dayton/Wright-Patterson region.
The Dayton-Wright AFCEA Chapter holds monthly luncheons featuring Government and Industry leaders who speak on the current events or programs that make up our community. In addition to our luncheons, quarterly events such as our Chapter Networking Socials and Young AFCEAN Socials/Breakfasts and semi-annual Membership Events are held, which provide a forum for our members and those interested in AFCEA to come together and meet. Our annual events, such as our prestigious Valentine’s Ball and The Daniel J. Curtis Memorial Golf Tournament are fun-filled events that help us to raise money for our scholarship and educational programs.
