Job Description Position Summary:
Segue Technologies seeks an Enterprise Architect to provide onsite support for a government customer. The Enterprise Architect is responsible for overseeing the integration management of current and future enclave of tools and functionality. This is a full-time position located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton OH.
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·         Provide technical options and recommend solutions to system integration issues
·         Maintain compliance with DoDAF directed architecture framework
·         Create, edit, finalize and maintain functional, system and data architecture drawings showing the technical solution from a horizontal and vertical perspective at all levels including overview, sub-component, interface and integration points
·         Review and refine functional requirements, design the technical solution and define the testing methods and protocols
·         Present proposed system design solutions to both technical and functional staff as needed
·         Responsible for interface and integration strategies with external systems and processes, including determining, understanding, and maintaining business requirements for those interactions
·         Responsible for maintaining system and technical architecture documents
·         Responsible for interfacing with external organizations to refine and integrate functional/operational architectures with system architecture perspectives
·         Responsible for maintaining DoD, Air Force and AFRL IT Compliance policy requirements to include Organization Execution Plans (OEP), FISMA, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Clinger-Cohen Act (CCA), Information Support Plan (ISP), etc.
·         Serve as the liaison between program office and higher-headquarters (AFMC/A6, SAF/FM, SAF/AQ, SAF/CIO A6)
·         Define and enforce appropriate technical standards and procedures
·         Identify technical process improvement opportunities within the program office
·         Additional tasks as required
 
Required Skills:
·         6+ years of IT and senior engineer experience in two or more of the following areas: software development, networks, storage systems, integration and testing
·         Experience utilizing mid-tier and PC architectures, data communication and terminal equipment, local area networks, operating systems, telecommunication software, and systems utilities to assess IT system requirements, devise implementation strategies, and diagnose problems
·         Direct experience with development of data system migration and/or integration processes using identified web technologies throughout the product life cycle
·         Knowledge of web technologies, application knowledge, and business experience with the ability and desire to lead technical solutions
·         Ability to create and maintain architecture models in UNICOM System Architect (formerly IBM Rational System Architect)
·         Experience modeling using the DoDAF and Business Process Modeling (BPM)
·         Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable DOD T1 (a.k.a., National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI)) security investigation
 
Desired Skills:
·         Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education is preferred
·         Previous experience working for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL)
·         Previous experience translating and mapping business and functional requirements to architecture models
·         Previous experience in the AF A6 community, supporting IT Compliance
·         Demonstrated ability to work independently and across diverse teams of functional and technical staff
·         Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
