Job Description JOB SUMMARY:
Lead a team of technical developers that design, build and support high visibility solutions as part of Midmark’s Digital Ecosystem platform. Responsible for all aspects of deployment and technical operations including resource management, scheduling, risk management, status, internal and external communications. Work closely with technical teammates, product owners and leadership in an Agile environment for creating, delivering and supporting products and solutions that are of the highest quality standards.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Lead technical teammates in the design, development, testing, and release of IoT enabled and Cloud/Hybrid digital solutions for the healthcare market
- Work closely with developers and product managers to define, develop and deliver increment features and released solutions on time and with high quality
- Guide DevOps requirements to ensure solution availability, reliability and scalability as volumes increase
- Define, iterate and enhance team process and collaboration with a focus on overall team velocity
- Assist in the architecture definition and advancement of Midmark’s Digital Ecosystem platform contributing to the technical priorities and overall platform roadmap
- Communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization as the representative of the DevOps area
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional business and development teams to solve critical problems and identify opportunities
- Resolve impediments to development and effectively manage technical and program risk
- Engage areas of the business as needed to facilitate planning, project support, and cross functional collaboration/alignment with resources outside of the direct team
- Establish and manage budgets while contributing to the development of the overall budget
- Assure adherence to policy, procedure, and documentation requirements

SECONDARY DUTIES:
- Determine hiring needs, obtain approvals, and lead the interview process for new teammates
- Establish and report on KPI metrics
- Stay informed of industry and technical trends, changes and developments

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science Information Technology, Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred
- Five (5) years of professional technology experience on IoT, web, mobile development platforms and/or similar technologies using Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud
- Two (2) years DevOps management experience in an Agile/Scrum environment including a track record of leadership success

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in application development and deployment operations for Cloud/Hybrid architectures using Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud
- Cross-functional program/project management involving DevOps delivery environments
- Understanding of Agile\Scrum development principles, preferably in SaaS platforms at scale
- Demonstrate critical thinking, providing options, recommendations, and additional actions relating to defining opportunities, resolving issues, mitigating risks and resolving escalated items
- Understanding of system vulnerabilities as it relates to information and cybersecurity in the Cloud
- Exceptional communication skills interfacing with technical developers, product owners and stakeholders
- Competency in managing third party vendors from selection through implementation and operational deployment
- Strong analytical skills, good judgment and decision-making ability
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic technical environment to work independently
- Exercise discretionary judgment in carrying out responsible duties
