As we enter into a comprehensive fundraising campaign, we are growing our exceptional team of passionate, mission-driven Advancement professionals, looking for a Technical Support Specialist who will support the fundraising and engagement efforts as part of the Advancement IT team.

This position is responsible for providing technical support to the staff of the Advancement division. Technical support includes, but is not limited to, desktop (both pc and Mac) network connectivity, general computer applications, and computer peripherals such as printers, scanners, and mobile devices. Support is provided in person to maximize the use of technology to increase overall productivity. The Technical Support Specialist is also responsible for administering all Advancements servers. This includes ensuring that all servers are patched and running a supported OS. This position manages the division's computer equipment and peripherals inventory and supports our Ticketing requesting System (Team Dynamix TDX), and other assigned projects.


Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related field OR equivalent experience
- Two years work experience in a desktop computer support role
- Experience must include installation, configuration, and troubleshooting on Windows 10/11 systems
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Access.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

- Experience with Active Directory, Ivanti, Gmail, Team Dynamix and Box
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Macintosh systems.
- Previous work experience in higher education and alumni database software
- Knowledge of SalesForce or Affinaquest

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
