The candidate will be responsible for estimating, refining, and delivering software as it relates to project needs. They will work on various projects with the ability to switch between prototyping and production software development with the guidance of their team and the project needs. The candidate must be self-motivated and self-tasking, working within the guidance of a senior team member with some oversight while seeking help when needed within the greater Mile Two community.
Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Located in the greater Dayton, Ohio, area or willingness to relocate for WPAFB meetings (~1 day a week)
- Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience
- Fluent with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience using a frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
- Experience with API development using languages and frameworks such as Node.js or Python
- Comfort with interacting with databases via SQL or an ORM
- Familiarity with API specifications such as REST or GraphQL
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodology
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
- Desire to work with a manager to learn and grow personal skills and goals
- Ability to help define, scope, and estimate tasks that can be relied upon for project planning
- Proactive in finding solutions and improvements to the projects you interact with
- Ability to communicate progress and difficulties
- Ability to receive and give feedback across disciplines such as design and project management
- Willingness to attend meetings and assist with deployment on base
