This position is located at the UDRI Hangar 01 facility supporting the Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO). The RSO increases mission readiness by rapidly identifying, applying and scaling technology essential to the operation and sustainment of the U.S. Air Force. Hangar 01 is the lead in bringing together a comprehensive network of new technological methods, processes, and techniques. Success comes from our teamwork and mutual respect for each other’s talents and unique perspectives.
We are seeking an organized, efficient IT technician to join our organization. In this position, you will work with other UDRI personnel and be responsible for the organization and execution of all information technology within the Hangar facility. The ideal candidate will work with other staff to carry out the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions.


Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years' of experience managing IT systems
• Experience with installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripheral components
• Security+ Certification
• Microsoft and/or Macintosh Operating Systems and Workstations experience
• Network and Software Troubleshooting skills
• Experience in customer-facing support roles
• Experience with digital signage
• Excellent written communication skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Effective verbal communication with clients at all levels
• Successful collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team
• Consistent, professional dress and manner
• US Citizenship


Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

  • 5+ years managing IT systems
    Demonstrated experience with reporting and business intelligence (BI)
    Demonstrated understanding of security concerns and audience targeting
    SharePoint Administration Experience
    Experience with AV equipment
    Experience with the RSO
    1 year min NIPRNET experience
    IT related certifications, including CompTia A+
    Ability to support a variety of devices at our primary office and remote support
    Understanding of Remote Access capabilities and functionality
    Ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team
    Willing to work some weekends and evenings
    Ability to travel on a limited basis

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
