The Mobile Device Administrator will manage and administer the Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools for UDRI enterprise. This position will provide system administration of the mobile device environments, be responsible for creating workflows, developing new technologies, and testing new hardware/software before releasing to production environments. Maintain the health of the MDM solutions in the enterprise. Review proposed new mobile applications and determine if the application is acceptable and complies with security and compliance policies, protocols, and guidance. Administer device registration and work closely with Security and leadership on enterprise policies.
Troubleshoot device and network related issues. Build, test, and deploy MDM profiles per workflow and job requirements of customers. Create how-to guides, as well as, information tracking, and troubleshooting tips. Documents, packages, and deploys software to endpoints. Tracks and inventories deployed devices. Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of three years of experience working in a computer hardware environment.
Experience in planning, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise android devices.
Thorough comprehension of mobile device management of Android devices to include software management.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Must be able to create detailed records and training materials.
CompTIA A+ certification or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire.
Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required.
A valid driver’s license and low risk driving record is required to be insurable by the University.


Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Five years of experience working with mobile devices and/or computer hardware
Experience managing mobile devices with IBM MaaS360
Experience working for a Defense Contractor or DoD environment
Experience working with Microsoft InTune

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide.
